Meet the Team

We’re a husband-wife duo that met over 16 years ago in Germany. In 2010, we made the United States our home base.


  • Founder

    Marie was born in East Germany and fled the country as a little girl with her parents in 1989, shortly before the wall came down. Talk about timing.

    Marie is the creative mind of Smith and Smith Global LLC and the head designer of all products. She left her career in the corporate world to spend more time with Mike by working with him.

    She is also an artist.


  • Founder

    Michael, only known as Mike to his wife, enjoyed a 24-year career in the U.S. Navy. He also was one of the highest-ranked service advisors in the USA for Audi Motorcars.

    Michael’s dedication to serving not only his country but also the people is why he is the company’s head of customer service.
