Hello! I'm M.-L. Stranger, better known in my day-to-day life as Marie Smith. I'm the co-owner of Smith and Smith Global, but more significantly, I am the proud founder and creator of Human in Design™ - not just a brand but my life's philosophy and an extension of myself.

Human in Design was born out of a personal journey that stemmed from never quite fitting into any one box. To me, this brand represents the raw, beautiful, and at times, bewildering complexities of human individuality. It's an affirmation that it's okay to be a square peg in a world of round holes - that the unique shapes of our spirits are the true driving forces behind the design of our lives.

My passion for individuality translates into the surreal collage art I create. As M.L. Stranger, I weave together the odd and the ordinary, the simple and the abstract, into an artistic tapestry that mirrors the diverse human experience. If you're looking for conventional art, you won't find it here. My art is a testament to the weird, wonderful, and often unexplored nooks of our psyche. It's about peeling back layers, pushing boundaries, and celebrating our differences.

But Human in Design is more than just a brand or an artistic portfolio - it's a movement, a sentiment. It is the manifestation of the belief that each of us is a human in design, a master architect crafting our own worlds, shaping our realities according to our unique dreams and desires.
